# Sidekeys

> Sidekeys turns an iPhone or iPad into a second screen for a Mac, a touch control deck that changes with the app in front, and a dashboard for AI coding agents like Claude Code. Built for the iPhone Duo, works with any iPhone or iPad. Free Mac app; the iPhone app is a 7-day free trial, then a one-time $9.99 unlock (no subscription, no account). Currently in public beta on TestFlight.

- Mac requirements: Apple silicon, macOS 27 or later. The Mac app is notarized by Apple and downloads from this site (not the Mac App Store, which doesn't allow virtual displays).
- Connection: USB-C data cable (lowest delay) or Wi-Fi, encrypted between the user's own devices. No servers in the path, no analytics, no ads.
